Sleeping in the trailer?

Do any of you ever sleep in your trailers? And when I say that, I'm not talking about sleeping in the living quarters. I'm talking about sleeping in the back....

We have shows coming up, and our trainer has suggested we sleep in the back. Sure, it's pretty clean, we try to keep it as clean as possible. And there are shower facilities at the show. I've slept lots of places, and I'm trying to have an open mind, but I think I'd prefer just to bring my tent and sleep on the grass!

Or, maybe if I'm really, really lucky, PaPu, (my grandpa) will bring his camper trailer. He said he would consider it for a hug. Done!

Yep, been there done that. If you've got a tent, it's cleaner. Oh and when I slept in the trailer, it was NOT as clean as yours :)
It's not so bad. Really. But yes, shower...lol

I'm more comfy in the little tent-especially if you have one of those big air beds! Less bugs get in. don't forgetthe air pump though.

too nice

good lock
Yep, I had a grandpa with a camper too. Lots of nights spent in there at horse shows just across the aisle from our stalls. I always loved getting up early in the morning, walking out the door, and having my horses right there.

Love your blog! Sleeping in the trailer? Never heard of that! Maybe you can put the tent inside the trailer incase it rains :-) I have a horsey blog too, The Dancing Horse, about my horse Pilot, I would love to become affiliates (or whatever they are called). Ttyl,

Perhaps that is another good place to sleep. That's very cool trailer.
That is the best place to sleep when we don't have tents or other place(covered place) to sleep. On many trips, I have tried that personally and I can bet that there is nothing better than that in those situations.

Nice. A trailer is a safe place to sleep overnight.

Sleeping in the trailer allows horse owners to check on their animals at midnight.

Well I don't own a trailer, but I can imagine sleeping in it is destroying the fun of camping. If I had a trailer and was on an adventure, I would always light a fire outside and sleep in a tent.
Well, nice idea but im not for it though. Excellent post. Keep it up!
Hi Madison,

I know you posted this back in June, but YES, I have slept in the back of my trailer. This is how I usually do it. Prior to the show I pressure wash the back so it is sqeaky clean. Then at the show I clean it out and lay down a GREAT BIG painting drop cloth. I then put down my twin mattress (yep, no airmattres for me), make my bed with sheets and everything. Then I usually run an extension cord in through my stock windows so I can have my laptop or charge my camera or cell phone. It works pretty nifty and it is warmer and more quiet than a tent! :)
My boyfriend rent outed this van-trailer thing and we took a trip or you can call it a camping trip. The only reason I agreed to sleep in the trailer is because he wanted to sleep outside in the tent, so I had no choice.
