Happy July 4th, ( a little late.)

Part of our 4th of July tradition is going to the Oakely rodeo. It's always a great rodeo.

We come from a family of ranchers, so rodeos have been a part of our family tradition for a long time. My grandparents were surprised that I wanted to ride english and event, and a little resistant to it at first. Gramps didn't know what to think when english saddles started showing up in the tack room. But, good riding has always been valued in our family, no matter what kind of riding it is, reigning, barrel racing, or 3 day eventing, it's all good!

Gramsie and Gramps like my shows, and they probably know more about horses and riding than any other grandparents there! Next time you see a cowboy wearing a Wyoming t-shirt and cowboy boots at an english riding event say hello. It's probably gramps!
