How to start your own Pony Tail Club or other blog in 30 seconds:

Since we started blogging as a family, I've started getting hit up by any number of people about blogging: How to start. Where to go. What they'll need.

Here's the answer and it's good news.

When I looked at building a blog for Maddy and what that would entail I decided to build it on Squarespace.com, the same blogging platform I use for all of my professional sites like Simple Curiosity and Medical Spa MD.

Why? Because it's so simple that a 14 year old girl can run her own blog. I've used Wordpress and Blogger and Squarespace beats them hands down. Now it's not free. It will cost you something like $7 a month for the cheapest site but let me tell you that it's worth every cent if you want to have an actual blog and not a myspace page.
