A jumping horse and a jumping dog.

So, you've heard me talk about Moon jumping, but did you know that I have a jumping dog too? Jai has springs in his legs. When he wants fresh water he stands by the kitchen sink and jumps up and down until one of us gives him water. (He only wants water straight from the tap, if it's been in his bowl for more than 5 minutes he won't drink it!)

When we're outside he runs to the car parked in the driveway and jumps straight up and down by the door. (He's hoping we'll get in the car and go somewhere fun!)

And yes, since you asked, when he has to go potty he either rings the bell or goes to the back door and yes, you guessed it, jumps up and down.

Ohhh-- Don't forget Jai jumping off the deck--that's certainly worthy of another post.

One of our golden retrievers does the same thing, both the jumping and the drinking out of the tap!

Jai also likes to drink the horses water, he must like how fresh it is. The horses get annoyed when they see him sneaking a drink. Especially Maverick, he'll pin his ears back and let Jai know that the water is for horses only.
