Sundance Film Festival
It's that time of year again. Our little city is flooded with PIBS, (people in black.) As opposed to the LIBS, (locals in black.)
I'd like the film fest more if there were lots of great horse movies. This morning a group of kids in P.E. were walking near the school with all their cross country skiing gear (this time of year we do cross country skiing in P.E.) and they all spotted Justin Timberlake. They started screaming at him and he said hi.
I have a dance class that is held in the high school. They built a really cool theater in the high school a few years ago, called the Eccles center. That's where they show a lot of the Sundance Films. I was trying to get into the building, surrounded by PIBS and the guy wouldn't let me in because I didn't have my student ID, so I asked him if I looked like I was going to a movie or going to dance class. He let me in.
My aunt is an agent in Hollywood that represents kid actors.
A friend of mine who rides at the barn rode up the ski lift with Nick Lachay a couple of years ago during the film fest. You just never know who you might bump into. I'm not really into the whole celeb. thing. I'd rather run into some famous riders. Now that would be cool.
