Can you find the dressage arena in this picture?

Yes, this is actually our dressage arena. Now covered with a few feet of snow. We had at least a foot or so of new snow in just the last couple of days. Our jumping arena is even worse. Last week you could just see the tops of some of the jumps. Now those are gone too.

I love the snow and hate it too. I skied in new powder over the weekend, which was great, but it makes everything about riding hard. I guess I want to have my cake and eat it too. If only we could have just a small patch of summer just at the barn all year.

If only, if only! Too bad we can't ride outside, none the less ride at all! I am going to miss everyone and all the horses while I am gone!
