Moon Conquers the Wash Rack!

Moon Wash Rack.jpgNow that the year is almost over, I've been thinking about the goals I set for myself and Moon this year. One of them I definitely met, or maybe I should say Moon met. If Moon set his own goals he didn't share them with me, so I set some for him.

The wash rack. Either Moon has been terrified of being clean or terrified at the process involved in getting clean. The wash rack has been his biggest threat this year. When I first got Moon he wouldn't even walk into the wash rack instead, he would back away or just refuse to move. After a few weeks of holding him when I hosed him off I decided that he was going to conquer the wash rack. The first time I tried someone had to go behind him and cluck at him and wave their arms at him. He finally gave in and went in the wash rack, although he wasn't happy about it. Every time after that he was more and more willing to go in. Now he has no problem going into the wash rack or staying in it. I think he actually likes getting hosed off and getting baths.

Now Moon, was that really so hard?

I am glad Moon has finally decided to be cooperative! I remember all summer we would take turns holding him. Not anymore! YAY! I will miss you while I am gone, but I will check here everyday for updates about PC!

love Abby!

Good for you (and moon). You obviously did it right if it gets easier, not harder!
