Jai: My other four-legged friend.
Jai's the best dog around. Santa brought him a few years ago all the way from France. He's a Bouvier.
Jai really is the best dog. My dad used to be a dog trainer, and Jai knows all kinds of tricks. He's learning to impersonate the seven dwarves from Snow White. He can sneeze on command, (Sneezy), pretend to sleep on command, (Sleepy), and can growl on command, (Grumpy). We're still working on the others. He also has a bell by the front door that he rings when he needs a potty break. His commands are spoken in french, because he's a french dog.
Jai has never chewed up a pair of shoes, but he does like my stuffed animals. He terrorizes them when no one is home. Almost all of my stuffed animals are missing an eye or button nose thanks to Jai.
Jai likes the horses, but they don't necessarily like him. Pharaoh, especially, isn't crazy about Jai jumping all around him, but Jai hasn't figured that out yet. Jai just thinks everyone loves him as much as we do.
Jai loves to go to Gramsies and run and run. Once we were there in the spring, when it was really muddy outside. Jai came inside and did three loops around the house with his muddy paws on Gramsies almost-white carpet. Gramsie wasn't mad though. The mess was so awful that we all laughed, well, kind of.
Jai is a great jumper. He can launch himself six feet straight into the air. People are amazed when they see him jumping. If he were a horse he'd be a great jumper. But we're glad he's Jai, the Bouvier.
